Trained as an illustrator, Nicolas Barrome Forgues has spent nearly twenty years developing a free artistic practice, driven by curiosity, experimentation, and the sheer pleasure of making. Acrylic and digital painting, etching, stained glass, and 3D printing: techniques shift and intersect, all serving the same desire to create images and worlds.

Drawing equally from classical painting and popular culture, he enjoys shifting references, creating unexpected encounters, and blurring the boundaries between disciplines. His work casts a gaze that is at once tender, humorous, and sometimes uneasy on the living world and our times.
